If youve been reading my blog, you know Ive kept it exclusively about Real Estate. But I have to do a little housekeeping on social media, so I thought this would be the best place to address a change Im making.

For over five years, Ive had the handle @mrgeoffsheen on Twitter. Why @mrgeoffsheen? Because when I was working San Francisco and Twitter was in its infancy, someone took the @geoffsheen handle hoping I would pay them for it. To quote Bugs Bunny, he dont know me very well, do he? So for years, I kept changing the handle to whichever radio station I was on. For example, in San Antonio, it was (regretfully) @geoffsheen760. Ive had @mrgeoffsheen since 2016.

But I am going to change it now. Since I have a Real Estate license, I have to use my real name if I want to use Twitter to tell folks about Real Estate. I hold myself to the highest standard, and after a few phones calls with the legal advisers at TREC to find out what I can and cant do, Ill be @mrgeoffsilvius on Twitter.
